Yes, indeed scanners can suck color right out of a picture....lousy scanners (I've had myexperiance wth that, lemme tell YOU). But great job none-the-less! :) Good guardians, foo dogs.

I love his curly mane!! :heart: And he looks classically Chinese in form, very well done.

Do you have a graphics program on your PC? You can tweak and repair color lost in scanning that way. Me, I'm too cheap to cough up $600 or more for Photoshop -- I use Paintshop Pro which is excellent and does everything I need it to do for about $80. And a totally free and legal product is the GIMP. Open source, free software, and very powerful. Does some cool stuff even Photoshop can't do. :)
