This is not the greatest song in the world. This is just a tribute.

~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~

Some things:

1) D&D 4th edition comes out at midnight. I will be at Dr. No's.
2) ZOMG art.
3) First year as a high school teacher is over. I survived.
4) I really need to go back and finish my Masters so I can teach community college.
5) I went to the beach. I relaxed. And I also caught fishies. Pictures to come when Mom e-mails them to me.

My mom rocks.

Not really posting for me this time. I did get my (much lesser) artistic gene from my Mom. And YOU ALL need to go see what she does.

Mom spent most of her life as a professional studio and wedding photographer. She was incredible at what she did with the camera, though she claimed that it wasn't the film that was her medium, it was working people. She helped people be genuine, and that led to great photographs.

But that was her past life. She's retired now. And she went through some artistic phases, including watercolors, which she loved, but didn't have the right feel for them. She's finally arrived at the medium that she was meant for - oils.

Please go see her work: Her Blog . And if you like what you see, please leave her a comment and let her know. And if you know someone else who would appreciate seeing some well-done paintings full of a great woman's soul, please pass the link on!

Thanks!
